I think here Kant is saying how we assume things without examining the situation. We feel as if we are just right about certain things without even finding proof that our assumptions are true.

there are so many people who decide right away what thye think about seomthing even if theyre compeltely wrong because they are ignorant about it, their stubborness prohibits them from realizing the truth about certain things. something the truth of certain situations are too scarybecause there is a 50/50 chance that they will turn out good or bad. i think that many of us long for quick knowledge and our assumptions are there to satisfy our needs of decision making.
